Replacing a Back Door in a Period Property

This customer had struggled to find a carpenter willing to do this smaller job, but their decorator offered to do it while he was there doing other work.

Their decorator had replaced the door and frame, but the door had been hung the wrong side with large gaps letting in drafts and filler in all the poorly cut joinery. Unfortunately neither the door nor frame were salvageable.

We started again, removing the badly-fitting door and frame, fitted a new frame and door correctly, primed it and left it ready to decorate. We were left with a satisfied customer.
