Foundations Up have been nothing but professional throughout my dealings with them for both electrical and plumbing works at my flat. Jak and Connor did a great job understanding what I wanted from a full kitchen rewire and other electrical works and Jake was able to help sort out a plumbing issue logically and with minimal fuss. Communication has been very good throughout which has really helped my planning. I would definitely hope to have Foundations Up for any future work – thanks to all!

What an amazing company with such an accommodating team. I had wooden loft ladders fitted four years ago and have been so pleased with them. They are of such good quality, and look as good as the day I had them fitted. Tough and durable, but looking bespoke in their finish, I am still so pleased that I had them fitted. The team member who fitted them was informative and conscientious, and since then I have never had a day of issues with the ladders. My loft has become another useful room which I can access so easily due to the expert precision of fitting, so rather than my loft being somewhere to be avoided, it has become a place where I can store so much, and access with ease and comfort. Recently I had the need to contact the company for advice, as the ladders had a slight lean. They sorted the issue immediately, just a loose screw, and dealt with my request without issue, keeping me up to date with email, and phone calls, as to when a member of the team would visit, constantly checking that I was happy with the service given. I really cannot fault the company’s way of working as they have so much respect for customers, and endeavour to give the best service possible to their clients, following along the journey, to ensure that the customer is always happy, and has any queries answered. To add to this, their prices are competitive and fair. A real gem of a company, that I would highly recommend, one that can be trusted, and one that delivers the promise of good workmanship and customer care, before, during and after installation.

When we moved into our old cottage a few months ago it urgently needed the brickwork repointing. Foundations Up found space to fit us in and Ricky did a fantastic job. He was sensitive to the building, carefully considering where it would be best to repair the old lime mortar and where it would be best to leave the cement from a 70s renovation and prevent damaging the old bricks. It’s messy work but at the end of the job we were left clean and tidy, even cleaning the brick dust off the windows. The house looks smart and cared for again and more importantly weatherproof.

Exceptionally high standard of workmanship. Good communication as we progressed over the 5 weeks. Professional but friendly and approachable attitude from all employees in the team. They kept the site as tidy as possible throughout the build and dealt with unexpected underground pipework issues promptly, which avoided future drainage problems for myself. All round lovely bunch of lads who are always happy to give useful advice. Such a shame they had to work mostly outside in dreadful weather but always turned up for a full day’s work, no slacking off early with this company.
Finding a builder you can trust is essential, especially when you are a single woman with no knowledge of the trade. I can’t remember how I found them but they have been a god send and I shall be using them for any future works, big or small.

The team from Foundations Up were extremely professional and the replacement of our hot water cylinder, additional pipe work, shower, and timers were completed as discussed and with attention to detail. We could not be present during the work but the office and implementation team worked hard and communicated really well to ensure we were totally satisfied with the end result and nothing was too much trouble, sending photos as they progressed. We would not hesitate to recommend them and have subsequently also had a replacement loft hatch, insulation and raised floor boarding installed by them.

The engineer arrived promptly to carry out the EICR. He was friendly, polite, respectful of our property and aware of our needs. He explained carefully what the job entailed and was grateful for the preparations we had put in place. When the work was completed (he was very thorough and took several hours) the engineer explained what he had done and any follow up we needed to do. We were extremely pleased with the work carried out and would definitely recommend Foundations Up to anyone requiring work of this nature.

We had our old asbestos garage roof removed, and a new roof installed. Mike and his team were very personable and efficient, with Mike supervising the team to ensure that work was completed before the expected date.
The team was hardworking and skilled, and we are very happy with the completed works. Though not the cheapest, we’re glad we chose a builder with many years of experience and one who sets high standards.
From the outset, Mike impressed us with his professional and friendly approach, and we were always happy to receive his very prompt and comprehensive and detailed answers to our questions, usually by e-mail.

Foundations Up have recently completed an extension on my house and the result is amazingly good. Excellent quality workmanship using the best materials and all the employees are really nice people to have around.
We were given a time frame which they stuck to, so that once the job was started the team was here almost every day until it was finished. Any problems that were encountered along the way were dealt with speedily and efficiently.
They are not the cheapest builders but, as with most things, you get what you pay for and we have absolute confidence in them and would very strongly recommend then to anyone thinking of having building work done.

Changing contractors after many years with one was concerning but circumstances demanded that I find a new one.

The assessment of the first task was professional as was the quote. The team were hard working, punctual and efficient.

The men ( I am afraid that I can only remember Steve’s name ) came on time, were unfailingly pleasant, courteous, quiet and respectful, and finished at 3pm ! They were tidy, careful about making a mess and cleaned up and hoovered before leaving. They explained what they were going to do and then, at the end before leaving, carefully showed us what they had managed to do.

They were an absolute credit to your company, and we could not be more pleased with the work your company has undertaken. We will have no hesitation in recommending you to others – in fact we have already discovered that your company has done similar work for friends of ours who also were full of praise for you.

In these difficult times it is so reassuring to find a company like yours, that fulfills its promises and carries out its work to an exceptional standard and whose workforce are reliable, polite, on time and who give real value for money.

We had a loft hatch moved, the old hatch blocked in, new hatch in the hallway with a lovely wooden ladder, loft boarded out with 18sqm of boards, loft insulation brought up to standard and some new electrics put in.

We had a visit from Charles, who inspected the loft, explained what the team would do and answered all of my silly questions. The quote was very reasonable and we were booked in 6 weeks later.

The electritcian came a few days early, as they have got COVID bubbles setup for their teams, and was finished in a couple of hours, very clean and tidy.

The carpenters arrived promptly at 8 on the day, straight to work with barely a break, they were finished with the job and had cleaned everything up by 1:30. The work was done to a very high standard and we were really pleased.

All the guys were friendly, knowledagble and efficient. Adherance to COVID rules was very good.

Getting hold of back-office staff was easily done via email and they answered the couple of questions I had with no fuss.

All in a fantastic experience, we will be contacting them again for our next project.

Keith and I would just like to thank you and your amazing team for all the hard work involved in changing our bedroom to make it easier for Keith to access both the bedroom and wet room. We are absolutely delighted with how it has turned out.
Joe and Tim were brilliant, so considerate when Keith was around and listened to his questions. Nothing was too time consuming/troublesome which meant a lot to me.
